If Anyone  reports MyAssistant failed to connect to the database. Please check the database settings to verify the server name, your user name and password:




TO fix this do the following:

  1. Go to Sage Server
  2. Click on MyAssistant Manager
  3. Click on Database Configuration
  4. For username change it to something like MyAssistant2 or whatever
  5. Create a new password
  6. Then Go to workstation, i.e. User's remote desktop( Jason Chanslor)
  7. Under MyAssistant, add the new Username and password
  8. Save and error will disappear
